"You Don't Need Teeth" is inspired by an appearance at Blackpool Tower Ballroom in 1974 when flares and facial hair were de rigeur and Rock & Roll was being com-modified as stodgy unappetising family entertainment .The young tearaway on stage bared his fangs and metaphorically drew blood in his raging against this corruption of the form.

"Paralysed" observes the marginal figures who simultaneously live on their distant past while rewriting history and moaning about the raw deal they've suffered.
